Program – Pneumo Update Europe 2026

Respiratory Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a multi-ethnic, non-partisan, non-for-profit and non-governmental organization with the aim of promoting the common interests of its members.


The following are the basic aims of its program and activities:

- establishing connections among the members of the Association with the aim of advancing pulmonary
  health
- working on advancing the knowledge and skills of doctors specialized in respiratory medicine, including the
  areas of pulmonology, thoracic surgery, as well as related medical branches
- providing expertise regarding the curricula of the main specializations
- providing expertise regarding subspecializations’ curricula
- publishing medical literature and providing information in the form of magazines, flyers and books regarding
   the areas as defined through the aims of the Association
- furthering the social interests of its members
- participating and cooperating on international and local congresses, symposia, seminars and workshops
  pertaining to respiratory medicine
- advancing and transferring experience through international and local research projects pertaining to
  pulmonary health
- cooperating with relevant professional and scientific organizations, institutions, associations and
  individuals from various areas of medicine inside Bosnia and Herzegovina and internationally
